Vernon's 2007 Mustang GT/CS

I first came across Vernon, known as Calspec, on the "FordMuscle" Forums, mainly lurking around the "Garage" pages.
With all his stories to tell of the past, whether automotive or just simply about life, his posts are impossible to ignore.
He sometimes gets himself into a little bit of strife, yet other times he is so informative.
Since his arrival to the forums, he has brought a lot of life to it, where once it could be quite boring.

What got my attention, is his interest in Australian cars, and the questions he asked. And in just about all the cases, it was me who replied, either with a serious or funny answer.
He's also read my website right through, and just about knows more about me than I do, and that, in my opinion, deserves to get him his own web page here!

Calspec, his username on the forums, gets his name from this new California Special equipped Performance White 2007 Mustang GT.
Living in rural South Carolina, he makes the best of oportunities to give the 300hp beast a bootful whenever he gets the chance, while listening to Creedence Clearwater Revival through his Shaker 500 sound system.
Of course on a good day, he would rather listen to the music the engine makes, as he drives the Mustang to it's limits.
Vernon tells me that he absolutely loves driving the car to it's fullest, changing gears with that optional Hurst shifter.

His best known saying is "Have a great Ford day". Amen to that!

Car is now sold.

Engine:	4.6, 3 valve SOHC V8. 300hp.
Transmission:	5 speed manual, with Hurst shifter.
Rear Axle:	3.55 ratio.
Wheels and Tires:	Front and Rear: Factory optioned 18 x 8.5" polished aluminum 5 spoke GT wheels.
