Clint's Retro FB Holden

This is Clint's FB Holden, done retro style to how it would have been in the 70's.
Original running gear with a dressed grey motor.
A whole sheet of zincaneal has gone back into this car, there was that much rust hidden in it. Under all the bog, Clint found squashed Coke cans (steel ones), chook wire, papermache, concrete and chewing gum made to look like welds.
Body mods: Front guards have had the seams welded up and the gap reduced where the front chrome eyebrow moulds go. Twin frenched aerials in the rear quarter panels on the same angle as the tail lamps. XB Fairmont V8 boot floor and fuel tank fitted enabling a larger boot with the spare tyre mounted in the fuel tank. Battery mounted in the boot in a marine battery box. Roof lining re-made in cream velour. Twin swivel cockpit interior lamp. Seats rebuilt, re-padded and covered in upholstery velvet, sewn in a diamond pattern with buttons. Door trims also covered in upholstery velvet with new backing panels made of three ply. Seams in the dash have been welded up. EK dash trims and gauge cluster fitted. New moulded carpets fitted front and rear and the same carpet fitted and trimmed in the boot. New wiring harness fitted, modified and hidden. Engine bay smoothed, battery removed and all wiring hidden.
Paint: Electric Blue and heavy silver metalflake to side flash, sides of front seats and deep dish rims.
Time to build: 5 years, and was registered on Friday at 5pm the day before the Burswood Hot Rod Show.

Car is now sold.

Wheels & Tyres:	Front and rear: Period perfect Chromies....Oops, painted in Silver metal flake with spindles. c/w Black rubber round things!
Exterior Color:	Electric Blue with silver metal flake flash.
Interior Color:	Blue velvet
